Raising Maltesers and Money for Comic Relief - March 2011
The day started off with employees competing to throw the juggling balls into a Giant Malteser catcher. Everyone that had a go won a pen and a bag of Maltesers plus a raffle ticket to win one of the many prizes - more Maltesers, Maltesers mugs, T Shirts and Juggling balls. This soon became fiercely competitive and the ING employees kept coming back for more!!! - and donating more money each time to help raise a million pounds for comic relief!!!
Over lunch we gave away a selection of the new range of Feasters microwaveable vending products including the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Chicken Fillet Sandwich, Fish Finger Sandwich, Bacon Bap, King Rib Burger, Ham and Cheese Baguette, All Day Breakfast Baguette as well as Jacket Potatoes with Chilli - all we asked in return was for a donation to Comic Relief – you know the saying ‘there’s no such thing as a free lunch.’
We would like to thank Clare Veal from Mars Chocolate UK and Dave Whincup from Eatwell for their support with the donation of products and prizes.
We have recently upgraded the vending provision at ING with a larger snack machine and a Bev Max can and bottle vendor, both of which offer a wider range of items. This is all part of our programme of continuous improvement to our clients and has been well received by everyone.
In addition to these machines, the 'BIG One' Bean to Cup Coffee, still proves very popular amongst the employees enjoying the coffee shop experience in the work place.
CSG have established a sound partnership with Nancy Dean – Facilities Team leader at ING and look forward to the continuation of this successful relationship for many more years to come.
