Supporting Fairtrade Fortnight - March 2011
As supporters of Fairtrade produce, Fairtarde fortnight was promoted across our catering sites.
Starting on 28th February we promoted a range of new Fairtrade Chocolate Bars, Cake Bars, Cookies and Fruit Juices.
To help our customers at KCOM Group get involved in the event we ran a FREE Raffle Draw for all customers purchasing Fairtrade products to win a selection of Fairtrade goodies.
Throughout our business Fairtrade products have seen a significant increase in sales.
It seems that whilst we all appreciate the importance of value for money, it is also important to us that that farmers and growers receive a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work and at CSG our employees and customers are more than happy to support us in spreading the Fairtrade word!
