We are now post EFSIS audit and have responded to any actions agreed. I am pleased to say that the site scored 96% and as such retained its ‘A’ grading.
With regards the restaurant and CSG’S responsibilities, the auditor made specific comment to the excellent HACCP system and principles applied, she has visited many sites with catering provisions and said the HACCP was probably the best she has seen!!

Initially, CSG was employed at the North Wales Police DHQ to provide a vending service, with all the limitations that service can provide. When it was decided that a full restaurant facility would benefit the site, the CSG tender most reflected the type of service envisioned and were rewarded by winning the contract. Since then the facility has gone from strength to strength. It is extremely popular with staff and corporate alike. It caters for a wide variety of tastes and dietary requirements. The food is excellent and the facility looks fantastic. Additionally both the on site staff and their support managers are very professional, customer focussed and always looking to improve an already high quality service.
North Wales Police DHQ
CSG have successfully re-bid for the North Wales Police catering contract. Working together we have continued to expand the service over the years with a number of initiatives put forward by the company to improve the standard and range of food options available to staff. Because of the successful relationship, both at operational and management level, the Force has had been able to justify the refurbishments of its canteens with the benefit of their input. Communication is never a problem given their hands on management style.

As part of the change in culture when moving from our existing office to our new HQ, we decided to move away from buying and making our own drinks using kettles and water urns in favour of vending machines. It was important that we chose the right Company to supply these machines in terms of understanding what we wanted to achieve and more importantly deliver a good standard of beverage as initially there was a lot of resistance internally towards it.
