Not only is tea good for you on the inside - it can also work as an odour absorber - removing bad smells from the skin. Pouring a cup over your hand (obviously cold) is said to work wonders in removing bad smells.
- Tea can be used to treat warts, as the tannin present in tea is acidic and works as well as creams. A moist tea bag on a wart for 15 minutes 3 times a day will cause it to shrink and disappear?
- Late nights and sunburn on holiday? Tea can help with both- a moist, cool tea bag on the eyes for 20 minutes leaves them feeling fresher, brighter and looking revitalized. Placing a wet, cool tea bag on sunburn or pouring cold tea in to a cool bath has been known to ease a burn’s sting and help it heal faster?
Don’t like the dentist? The fluoride content in tea makes it a potent defender of oral health, as it binds to tooth enamel slowing decay and helping to prevent cavities.
- Finally and probably the most helpful use of tea - 80% of office workers now claim that they find out more about what is going on at work over a cup of tea than in any other way.
